Werner suffered a dead leg in the win against Sheffield United last week, forcing him to sit out Thursday’s FA Cup clash with Barnsley.
But Thomas Tuchel has confirmed that the £45million striker should recover in time to face Newcastle on Monday.
While that is a boost for the Chelsea manager, he will be without Silva, who is recovering from a thigh injury.
Havertz is also unlikely to be involved after suffering a hamstring strain in training last week.
Tuchel said: “There are still three training sessions (before Newcastle). It should be okay for Timo to come back, but maybe too close for Kai still and for Thiago.
“For Thiago we are aiming for Southampton [on February 20]. We are trying hard and will see if we make it. For Kai, let’s see if he is out (training) today. It is a very short time – maybe he will be missing this match as well.”
Andreas Christensen was substituted at half-time of Chelsea’s 1-0 win against Barnsley after suffering headache.
Tuchel added: “It was not concussion related at all. It was a headache. It was better we took him off.”
